Good read so far. You have kept me wanting to see what happens next. Your caricatures are real and easy to believe in. Hope you have time to keep writing.
David Nordon May 28, 2016 at 19:31 Thank you, Bruce! I'm trying! I've just been writting a few pages, but not enough to post. Soon there'll be more!

It's been long since I had the time to sit down and write. However, there'll be a period of three months in which I won't have to study everyday as I get home from work, so I'll focus on writting this book, even though my hands are still itching for me to proceed and start writting several other books I'm planning in my mind. In time: as you can see, this book takes about 460 minutes to be read (surely, it takes less). My intention is that it'll be four times as long as it is right now, so there's still A LOT to happen - don't forget, over half of the novel will take place on Mars, and, as I finish the book, it will be mixed with the chapters that take place on Earth - one on Earth, one or two on Mars, that's what I'm planning.

Brilliant concept, some paragraphs are hard to resist, Amazing overall.
David Nordon August 3, 2014 at 20:24 Thank you for your compliment, Asma! Unfortunately I have been so busy latey that I simply had to stop writting. I hope that by the beginning of 2015 I'll resume writting. However, it is compliments and commentaries like yours that keep me going on. Thank you so much!
ASMA SIDDIQUI August 4, 2014 at 05:23 Its my pleasure and I will surely wait for the next update.
David Nordon October 25, 2015 at 14:50 Hey, Asma! Are you still reading?

This is really unpredictable and unparallelled, I really really liked the chapter Visiting the Moon, it is really an incredible piece of writing. The whole way through you portrayed earth, space, atmosphere and mars with a perfect blend of fiction and somewhat realistic touch also.
David Nordon October 7, 2014 at 20:35 Thank you very much for your compliments, Saima! You can barely wait to read what's coming up! Exploring the surface of the Earth, meeting the first civilization, and everything else that awaits them there!
SAIMA SIDDIQUI October 8, 2014 at 07:24 My pleasure and I am pretty sure you will carry the whole book with muh elegance and reading about civilization would be much exciting.
David Nordon October 25, 2015 at 14:49 Hey, Saima! Still keeping up with the story?

I have updated the first five chapters with small texts from The Martian Encyclopedia. My intention is that every chapter begins with a small text and, together, they will tell you three different stories about Mars: what the government says (The Martian Encyclopedia), what the rebells say (The Martian Truth), and what Adam says about Earth. Check it out! Hope you enjoy it!
David Nordon April 12, 2015 at 14:12 And, again, I'd like to apologize for my lack of updates. There just hasn't been much time left for me to write. After all, writing isn't paying my bills yet...

Oi, David! Infelizmente, não leio em inglês... Mas a sinopse (traduzida pela Google) me pareceu muito boa. Um abraço. Siga sempre em frente... Você escreve muito bem. (vi seus outros livros).

Creating a story with so many paralell sub-stories is not that easy. I in particular have found it easier to write all there's to write about one character, and then move to another one, and finally put it all together as one single story. However, if you're planning on writting several books, just like Game of Thrones, there's no other way: you have to write everything at the same time. Well, at least, concerning each book of the series. 10,000 AD has several important characters, and that's what makes it even harder to write. It's a real challenge, much different from everything I have ever written. Whereas one story occurs in another planet, with it's own characters and drama, there are other things happening on Mars, and in different places from it. That's why reading this book will require some patience from you. I'm in the middle of one of the 5 to 6 different stories that occur at the same time.

This is the first book I write in English, so forgive me for some mistakes with the language. Once I finish it, a professional will check and correct it. However, if you would like to make any recommendations or suggest any correction, please feel free to do it. I'm a brazilian writer and pretty much everything I've written so far is in portuguese.
